Race Details

The Mansfield Triathlon Club Winter Aquathlon Series is open to ALL ages and abilities, it offers a challenging but safe course to keep you ticking over during the winter months. The race takes place at Ashfield School on Sutton Road in Kirkby-in-Ashfield, just off the A38.

Entries are only taken on the day and are £1 for kids and £4 for adults. Doors open at 9:20am, sign on at 9:30am. Juniors / Kids race starts at 10:00am prompt, adults go when the last Junior / Kids competitor has finished, this is to enable parents and marshals to give full support to the younger competitors.

Distances

The race consists of two disciplines (pool swim followed by a run) the distances of which are determined by your age on or before 31st December of the current year:

• Adults (16+) 400m swim / 3.7mile run on pavements & footpaths.
• Juniors (14yrs and over) 200m swim / 1.2 mile run on school fields.
• Kids (13yrs and under) 120m swim / 700m run on school fields.

Course Map

Please make yourself familiar with the run route before the event as there are no marshalls to give directions. The Junior & Kids courses are both marshalled.
